Course Medical Device Clinical Investigations

In Autumn 2012 the Profess Academy will organize a one day training to learn how to cope with a clinical investigation for a medical device. Not only the rules and regulations will be discussed, but also you will learn how to translate the rules into daily practice. Organizational and communication skills will be dealt with during the course by means of exercises and role plays.
Some of the subjects to be discussed are:
- Changing regulatory environment for device trials in Europe
- How to plan and prepare a device trial
- Monitoring and adverse device effect reporting
- Reporting to the authorities about modifications and progress.
This specific course is also aimed at clinical research professionals working in the pharma industry and confronted with a medical device clinical investigation.
